John G. Wolfe, III
Mr. Wolfe began the general practice of law in Kernersville in 1970 and has practiced in numerous areas of the law. He has also represented the Town of Kernersville as legal counsel since 1976.
Mr. Wolfe is Past President of the North Carolina
Municipal Attorneys Association, the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce, the
Kernersville Lions Club, and The Körner's Folly Foundation. He has also
served on numerous National, State, and Local Boards including The Selective
Service Commission, the North Carolina Bar Association, Government and Public
Sector Council, the Kernersville Sister City Commission, the Kernersville
Little Theatre, Salemtowne Retirement Community, First Citizens Bank, the
Kernersville YMCA, Crisis Control, and Kernersville Moravian Church Board
of Trustees.
Mr. Wolfe enjoys leisure time with his family, travel, photography, antiques, local history, and collecting memorabilia.
While Mr. Wolfe continues to practice in many areas of the law, emphasis in his
practice includes Business and Corporate Law, Municipal Law, Civil Litigation,
Estate Planning, Administration of Estates, and Land Use and Real Estate Matters.
Mr. Wolfe received his B.A. from Maryville College in 1967 and his Juris Doctor Degree from Wake Forest University in 1970.
Mr. Wolfe was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 1970, has been licensed to practice before the United States District Court, Middle District of North Carolina since 1970, and licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court since 1978. He is a member of the Forsyth County Bar Association, North Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina Municipal Attorneys Association, and the International Municipal Lawyers Association.

John H. Bain

Mr. Bain joined Wolfe &
Associates in 1994, having practiced in Winston-Salem, North Carolina for
the preceding three years. Mr. Bain has substantial experience in municipal
and corporate law. For approximately two years, Mr. Bain also served as
Staff Attorney for the Chapter 13 Trustee Office, Middle District of North
Carolina, Winston-Salem Division.
Prior to attending law school,
Mr. Bain was employed for ten years by the Town of Gibsonville as Town
Manager after serving there as Planning Director.
Mr. Bain is active with The
Prodigals Community in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and is proud to
represent the University of North Carolina at Greensboro on the Forsyth
County Aubrey Lee Brooks Scholarship Committee. Mr. Bain, his wife, Anita
Waters Bain, and their two children, Lauren and Evan, are active members of
Highland Presbyterian Church, where Mr. Bain has served as Elder, Deacon,
and Clerk of Session.
Mr.
Bain enjoys parenting, cooking, and spending time with his wife and
children.
While
Mr. Bain continues to practice in many areas of the law, emphasis in his

Mr.
Bain received both his B.A. in Political Science in 1975 and his Master of
Public Affairs in 1977 from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Mr. Bain received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 1991 from the Wake Forest
University School of Law. While at Wake Forest, Mr. Bain also served on the
Wake Forest Law Review.
Mr.
Bain was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 1991 and licensed to
practice before the United States District Court, Middle District of North
Carolina since 1991. He is a member of the Forsyth County Bar Association
and the North Carolina Bar Association.

Willis W. ("Bill") Apple

Mr. Apple
joined Wolfe & Associates in April of 2002, having practiced in Reidsville,
North Carolina for nearly 22 years. He has substantial experience in the
area of domestic/family law and other civil matters.
Immediately prior to joining the firm, Mr. Apple
was formally trained and certified by the Supreme Court of Georgia as a
mediator in general civil matters. From 1987-1994, he was an officer with
and director of First National Bank of Reidsville and its parent holding
company, FNB Financial Services Corporation, and served a term as President
and CEO of both.
Mr. Apple has served as President and Chairman of
numerous charitable and civic organizations, and local/regional economic
development organizations. He is currently serving as a member of the boards
of directors of the Kernersville Downtown Preservation and Development
Council, and the Kernersville Little Theatre. He has two daughters, Mara
O'Neil of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Lindsay Apple of Raleigh, North
Carolina. He, his wife, Susan Rogers Apple, and his two stepchildren,
Katherine and Will Howell, are members of Main Street United Methodist
Church in Kernersville.
Mr. Apple enjoys sailing, travel, music of all
genres, and service in civic and charitable organizations.
While Mr. Apple continues to practice in many
areas of the law, emphasis in his practice includes Mediation of both Family
Law and Civil Superior Court matters, Estate Planning, and General Civil
Law.
Mr. Apple received his B. S. in 1973 from the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his M.B.A. and Juris Doctor
Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1980. Mr.
Apple is also a 1989 Graduate from The Stonier Graduate School of Banking,
University of Delaware, and completed Graduate courses in the Guidance &
Counseling Masters Program, Troy State University (Alabama) from 1973
through 1976.
Mr. Apple was admitted to the North Carolina State
Bar in 1980 and is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association. In 1999,
Mr. Apple retired from the U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General's
Department, Reserve, as a Lt. Colonel. In addition, Mr. Apple is a
Registered Mediator with the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission
and the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution.
